Here's The Fruit That Tastes Spicy

Chilli is a plant that originated from tropical America, spread from Mexico to northern South America. Is the height of shrubs from 1 to 2.5 m. Leaf blade ovate to elliptic-shaped with pointed tips. The fruit is conical elongated, straight or curved and tapered at the edges. Young fruit dark green to bright red after being cooked. Spicy fruit flavors that can shed tears of people who kiss it, but people still need them to increase appetite. Species diversity is high enough red chili, red chili means having several varieties which are distinguished by the shape, size, sharpness and color of the fruit. Chili can be propagated by seed.

Cayenne or red pepper is a fruit and plants are included in the members of the genus Capsium. The fruit can be classified as a vegetable and spice, depending on how it uses. As a spice, spicy chilies are very popular in Southeast Asia as a food flavor enhancer. Chili included in the Solanaceae tribe and is an easy crop planted in lowland and upland. Pepper plants rich in vitamins A and C and essential oils contain capsaicin, which causes the spicy hot and warm when used for cooking ingredients.

Below are the types of chili

1. Fat chili

The center line of this type of chilies approximately 1-2 cm in length 8-12 cm. Permukannya slick and shiny. Seeds not very dense and contain lots of water.

2. Slender red chili

The size is slightly thinner than fat chili. Permukannya slightly bumpy skin. This type is more spicy chili and not a lot of water content.

3. Curly chili


This type is more spicy chili from the chili fat and sleek. The size of 7-10 cm in length. The seeds are very dense so the taste is very pungent spiciness.

4. Green chilies


Prior to mature and the color to red, chili is not old enough dark green. Containing green chili spicy flavor.

5. Cayenne pepper


As the name implies, this type of small-sized chili and of course hot. Parents should be selected if you want to make a sauce.
